Hello, I'm Hyde, thank you for the interest on checking this page to know a little more about me and my work.I specialise in chiaroscuro portraits, having a preference for pieces that are from the shoulders and above, but I do enjoy doing half and full bodies as well.My sketches are quite well polished and seem like they're cleanly lined, both of which I also enjoy doing. Lining takes longer, however, as I seek perfection.I'm a little slow artist as I'm only picking up art again now (2025) and choosing it as my full time job. I was unable to do so previously due to being in university, which I finally graduated from.I also took art classes on the fundamentals of drawing, applying what I learnt back then as I recover my art skills and improve them further.As stated on my Terms of Service, I do not work with deadlines and finishing a piece depends on type, size and complexity, so it can take a week or months for me to finish a project.I'm disabled and oftentimes have to pay a few visits to hospital, so that and how I physically feel impact directly on my productivity.If you've read this far and choose to commission me, I am deeply grateful and would like to say that I always do my best on every piece I work on.And something unrelated to drawing, I am also a bassist! I'm not in a band, though, and only play in my room. Heavy metal is my favourite genre to play, Gojira and Mastodon being my top picks.
